    1. well, it can but no one will know because its a black hole

    2. maybe, maybe not. We do not know what's inside a black hole.

    3. I think we need to fly a satellite into a black hole, and find out if how a satellite can communicate with Earth from within the hole.

  5. It seemed like the South won most of the battles during the war, who has a better chance of winning the war even though the Union had greater advantages.

    1. Well this tells me that the South had better generals and soldiers, and it really makes me wonder WHICH advantages the Union had that let the Union eventually win the war. It seems simple, if you have the greater military, then you should automatically win the war. But I guess since the Union won, then wars really are not so simple.

    2. I'm going to say the Confederacy because they won more battles, so they seem like they're better fighters and they would know how to defeat the Union completely.

    3. I think larkspurs is right but I steel can't believe that the Union army lost because the Confederate army had a great leader so I pick the Confederate.

    4. Well, the reason why the South won most of the battles was because they had better leadership than the North. To me, it is possible that the Union can win IF they had much better leadership than the South because even though they had more population and had Abraham Lincoln as their president, wars usually depend on their leadership and how they fight. (sorry if you don't understand, it is hard to explain)

  6. Who was a better leader, Abraham Lincoln or Robert E. Lee?

    1. If your talking about generals then you must be talking about Ulyssess Grant vs. Robert E. Lee, but if your talking about Presidents then Abraham Lincoln vs. Jefferson Davis

    2. Abraham Lincoln. He was president, and was strongly against slavery.

  7. Which side had the better defense strategy? The Union or Confederacy?

    1. The Confederacy

    2. Well, the Union had a plan called the Anaconda Plan to win the war that included a series of steps to winning the war. As for the Confederacy, they only fought when the Union would fight back. So, I believe that the Union had a better defense strategy because they actually planned out something rather than expecting the unexpected.

    3. Confederacy. They fought on their home soil.

      Delete
    4. The confederacy had a better defensive strategy because they didn't go to the north they stayed on their land while the north went on the south's land.

  8. If the Confederacy won the Civil War, would there still be slaves today? Don't just say yes or no, explain more please.

    1. no because there's not a lot of countries that support slavery so if they wanted help from other countries they would need to have a slave holding country to ask. also the more wealthier and bigger countries are the countries that oppose slavery. so there would not be slavery in the U.S./Confederacy

  9. If the South won the Civil War and became a sovereign nation. There would be North USA and South USA, two nations, right? Well then which country would Hawaii be part of. Explain.

  10. Besides having better advantages, why did Lincoln expect the war to last no more than ninety days?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lincoln underestimated how powerful the South could be

  11. would we be able to survive if earth was the only planet in the solar system?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Good question! This question is pretty difficult. The Sun is the reason why all the planets are in their places and the force of gravity of the Sun is strong. Just imagining all the planets gone and Earth is the only planet getting force off of the Sun concludes the Earth would be pulled too close to the Sun. I don't think we would survive.

      Delete
    2. Yes we would still be able to survive because we don't get anything from the other planets, we depend on our own planet.

  12. How would you think the south would've react if other countries like Great Britain joined the North?

  13. If planet Earth had a stronger gravitational pull then how strong it is right now, then how would life be? Would our rockets be strong to escape Earth's pull and go off onto space?
